How it works
Fusion is a chemically synthesized biosurfactant/ biosolvent that is effective in high-volume circulation operations – when heat alone will not do the job. By lowering the interfacial surface tension between hydrocarbons, Fusion allows them to join, creating a new, homogeneous product. Fusion is used in combination with cutter stock, diesel or light cycle oil (LCO) to fuse dif icult oil and hydrocarbons. In volume circulation and waste reduction operations, most solids are rendered “water wet” making solid separation easier and producing dryer cakes and under lows.
